What’s MBI’s Position on Current & Past Issues?

Below are some issues on which the MBI Board has established positions. Some of them are probably not “front page” issues any longer but one never knows when they may once again arise. We are always interested in hearing from our members and other Minnesota bowhunters about how they feel about issues. Don't hesitate to contact us to give the Board your input.

MBI is opposed to the recent DNR proposal for mid-October firearms doe season to help reduce the deer population in a few permit areas in the northwest part of the state and in the north metro. If an additional gun season was necessary MBI's preference is to have it in December or January.
